Davenport parcel rezoned for recreation and open space
A 7.31-acre parcel on Alabama Avenue in Davenport is seeking a change from residential to recreation and open space use.
The Polk County Commission is reviewing a comprehensive plan amendment for a 7.31-acre property at 430 Alabama Avenue in Davenport. The current zoning allows residential use at a low density (RL-4), but the applicant, RJWA Inc., is asking the county to redesignate the land as Recreation and Open Space (ROSX).
The amendment was filed in late August 2026 and is currently under county review.
