A long-running renovation campaign is working through the apartment buildings at 1001 Carpenters Way in North Lakeland, unit by unit.
Carpenters Home Estates Inc. has pulled dozens of permits since early 2024 to overhaul the apartment community at 1001 Carpenters Way in North Lakeland. The work spans buildings A through M and includes full unit renovations, porch remodels, a new elevator with a corridor extension, electrical main-breaker replacements across pairs of buildings, and a steady run of air-conditioning changeouts.
The larger remodels — several valued between $75,000 and $133,000 per unit — cover complete apartment makeovers in buildings B, G, H, I and K. Alongside them, smaller mechanical permits replace comfort packs and split systems one room at a time, and electrical permits swap out main breakers "per new fault study" building by building.
Many of these permits have already been finaled, while newer ones remain issued and active, so the campaign is clearly still underway across the property.
