The Florida Department of Transportation has added a bike path project to its five-year work program. The Glendale Street Trail will run from New Jersey Road to Lakeland Highlands Road, a distance of about half a mile.
The project is listed as adopted but not yet begun, with fiscal year 2026 budgeted for construction.
