A Hibbett Sports store has been built out at the Publix-anchored Grove Park Center, with new tenant signage still going up along South Florida Avenue.
Grove Park Center, the Publix-anchored shopping plaza at 1521 Highway 98 South in Lakeland, has a new tenant: Hibbett Sports. City records show an interior buildout permit for the store, valued at about $330,000, that was issued in September 2025 and finaled at the end of October 2025, along with a fire-sprinkler permit and an illuminated "Hibbett" wall sign that were also completed by early November 2025. Together those finished permits mean the store's work is done.
