Starbucks, Domino's and Citi Trends fill out a US 98 North shopping center

Where it is. On US 98 North in north Lakeland, about 150 feet from Xing Xing Kitchen and about 0.2 miles from The Home Depot. Distance measured from map data, October 2026.

Two of the places within a quarter mile, nearest first; the nearest large store is kept when there is one. Straight-line distance between the mapped points. Store locations © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), read Oct 15, 2026. Restaurant locations geocoded from the Florida DBPR active food-service licence file, read Oct 15, 2026.

A retail strip at 3105–3195 US 98 North in Lakeland is being rebuilt and re-tenanted, with a Starbucks, a Domino's and a Citi Trends among the names going in.

A cluster of permits on the MSF Land LLC parcel along US 98 North shows a shopping center being fixed up and filled with tenants. Domino's Pizza took an interior suite at 3141 (buildout finaled in early 2026, with its fire sprinkler, suppression and sign work all closed out). A Starbucks is building out space at 3105, with a drive-through menu board, clearance bar and a set of wall and directional signs permitted in late 2025 and the interior work issued in spring 2026. Citi Trends got wall and face-change signs at 3163/3179.

Benderson Development Co. handled site pieces like a double dumpster enclosure, a decorative wall and a trellis. The property has also seen roof recover work, rooftop HVAC unit replacements, alarm and data cabling, and seasonal sparkler sales and tents in the parking lot — the ordinary churn of an active retail center.

The records name the tenants and the work but don't give opening dates or a full tenant roster, so this is best read as a center in the middle of a tenant turnover rather than a single ground-up project.

What happens next

Watch for the Starbucks buildout at 3105 to be finaled and its signs installed; the Domino's at 3141 and Citi Trends signage are already complete.
