Fort Fraser Trail will extend along Ingraham Avenue

A bike path extension along Ingraham Avenue is planned as part of the Fort Fraser Trail.

The Florida Department of Transportation has included a bike path extension in its Five-Year Work Program. The project, called the Ingraham Avenue Trail (Fort Fraser Trail Extension), will add roughly 1.2 kilometers of trail in the area.

The project is currently in the adopted-but-not-yet-begun stage, with construction listed for fiscal year 2029.

What happens next

The project awaits funding and construction scheduling. Fiscal year 2029 is the planned start window according to the FDOT work program.
