Kingsky Flight Academy is building a new hangar at Lakeland Linder
Where it is. In Lakeland Linder.
A site plan and state permits are moving for a Kingsky Flight Academy hangar at Lakeland Linder International Airport.
Kingsky Flight Academy has a site plan under review with the City of Lakeland for a project at 4505 Airport Perimeter East, inside Lakeland Linder International Airport. The application was filed by Gadd & Associates, LLC.
Alongside the city review, Lakeland Linder International Airport has two state water permits tied to the work. One, labeled "LAL Kingsky Hangar," covers a 9.6-acre project area and is marked incomplete. Another, for airpark off-site sewer improvements, covers a 4.9-acre area and was approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District in September 2026.
The records don't spell out the size of the hangar, costs, or an opening date. What's clear is that the city site plan is still being reviewed and one of the two state permits remains incomplete.
