Lakeland Regional Health is planning a new endoscopy building on its Lakeland Hills campus

Lakeland Regional Health is reworking and expanding its campus along Lakeland Hills Boulevard. The city approved a modification to the hospital's Planned Unit Development in March 2026, and a second minor PUD modification is under review. A site plan for what the records call the "Lakeland Regional Health Endo Building" at 1330 Lakeland Hills Blvd is also under review.

Alongside the new-building plans, a steady stream of permits shows ongoing work inside the existing hospital at 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd — MRI and nuclear-medicine upgrades, an X-ray room build-out, air-handler replacement, and several interior remodels, some already finished. An electrical permit for temporary office trailers was also issued in May 2026.
