The 338-acre Lone Palm Golf Club off Lone Palm Drive is remodeling its clubhouse and seeking city approval for a course renovation master plan.
Lone Palm Golf Club LLC is overhauling its longtime golf course and clubhouse on roughly 338 acres south of W. Memorial Boulevard, east and west of Lone Palm Drive, and west of Howard Avenue. The city has been processing a package of approvals filed by Jason W. Rice of LP Engineering Services, including a completed concept plan, a site plan still under review, and a conditional use permit meant to recognize the existing golf course as a conforming use and allow new recreational facilities.
Work on the clubhouse at 800 Lone Palm Drive is already moving. Records show a finaled entry canopy addition and a finaled third-floor renovation, along with an issued demolition permit for exploratory work in the kitchen and men's locker room, plus several fire-protection permits. Two monument-sign permits for the "Lone Palm" name were filed but later withdrawn.
The conditional use permit (CUP26-008) went before the Planning and Zoning Board on September 15, 2026 for a public hearing and final decision. The records provided do not state the board's outcome.
