The property along New Tampa Highway, addressed as both 3030 and 3070, is being reworked into a warehouse and storage operation. City records tie the site to Lakeland Storage & Logistics LLC and Lakeland Storage 1 LLC, and a string of permits shows active work: a $200,000 interior renovation with new windows and overhead doors (issued October 2025), a new roof (finaled February 2026), a new electrical service for a water pump, and a $1 million site-work permit issued in May 2026 for previously approved plans described as "Warehouse/Storage."

A separate site plan filed in early 2026 for a warehouse and trailer storage yard at 3030 New Tampa Highway (case SIT26-012) was later withdrawn, so that specific proposal is not moving forward. The broader warehouse/storage work tied to the earlier approval (referenced in records as SIT24-035) is the one now underway.

A state wetland-delineation filing labeled "Publix Lakeland Deli" appears in the same record grouping, but its details point to a different, incomplete project by a different applicant; its connection to this warehouse site is not clear.
