Orlando Health is building out its Lakeland Highlands hospital campus

Orlando Health is putting the finishing touches on a hospital campus at 4000 Lakeland Highlands Road. City records show a large interior build-out permit issued in October 2025, with Skanska USA as the building contractor, plus kitchen hood, walk-in cooler, fire pump and sprinkler work across the property.

A wave of sign permits — illuminated monument signs, wayfinding signs and building-mounted channel letters carrying the Orlando Health name — were finaled in mid-2026, and the city approved a signage update to the planned development in February 2026. A fire pump was finaled in June 2026 and a sprinkler package was issued that spring.

The property owner is listed as Orlando Health Inc. and OHI Lakeland Highlands Inc. Records point to a hospital nearing completion, though the records provided do not state an opening date.
