MHP Operations LLC is modifying the existing Peachtree Mobile Home & RV Park, connecting to City sewer and consolidating its two entrances into one.
The 30-space Peachtree Mobile Home & RV Park at 2422 E. Peachtree Street is undergoing a limited modification that preserves its existing licensed capacity of 9 mobile-home spaces and 21 RV/park-model spaces. The revision relocates permitted spaces within the same boundary, converts overhead electric service to underground, and connects the park to Lakeland's sanitary sewer system while abandoning its onsite septic facilities.
The park will consolidate two existing entrances—one off Meridian Avenue and one off Peachtree Street—into a single entrance on Meridian Avenue. The layout retains one existing mobile home and maintains existing City water service. Florida Department of Health staff has approved the modified layout, and the County has issued a permit for the sewer connection. The applicant is working with Polk County, the City of Lakeland, and utilities to establish the fastest approval sequence while preserving the property's existing grandfathering rights.
