Phoenix Coating Resources is expanding its plant on SR 37 in Mulberry

Phoenix Coating Resources is growing its operation at 2377 S Highway 37 in Mulberry. County records show a cluster of work at the site: a renovation permit to convert a warehouse into three spaces, an installation of a 10,000-gallon above-ground water storage tank, and a permit to expand the existing building.

The groundwork was set by a site plan for the property, which called for a roughly 10,000-square-foot building, driveway reconstruction permitted through FDOT, and a stormwater management system. That site plan and the renovation and tank permits are all recorded as complete.

The building expansion permit is currently in the inspections stage, which means that piece of the work is underway.
