Business park on Highway 98 South seeks to allow light industrial uses

The property at 1200 Highway 98 South (also known as 1200 Bartow Road) is currently zoned as a Planned Unit Development under PUD Ordinance 3618. The owner, Marriott Ownership Resorts Inc., is requesting a modification to the PUD to allow certain I-1 light industrial and wholesale trade uses in addition to the office and commercial uses already permitted.

The modification applies to 21.89 acres. A Planning and Zoning hearing on the request is scheduled for July 21, 2026. The concept plan for the site was marked complete in the city's approvals system as of July 2026.
