A new bike path will connect the Reddick Street Highway corridor to First Street.

The trail will span roughly 1.2 kilometers (about 0.75 miles) across four road segments in the area. Work is scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2026.

What happens next

The project remains in planning phase. FDOT has adopted the work program item, but construction has not yet begun. Fiscal year 2026 is the target start date.
