State Road 37 is getting repaved from CR 640 up to Moses Street

A roughly 2.2-mile stretch of SR 37 is being resurfaced under a $1.8 million state contract.

The Florida Department of Transportation is repaving State Road 37 along a stretch that runs from north of County Road 640 up to Moses Street, a segment about 3.6 kilometers (roughly 2.2 miles) long. The work is a pavement-only resurfacing job, so it is about laying down new road surface rather than widening or reworking the road.

The contract went to Hubbard Construction Company for about $1.83 million. According to the state's records, the road was let for bid in July 2025, work began in October 2025, and the project is estimated to wrap up in spring 2026.

What happens next

Crews are working through the resurfacing, with FDOT records estimating completion in spring 2026 (dates listed range from late March to April 10, 2026).
