A nearly 6.8-mile stretch of State Road 37 is being resurfaced.

The Florida Department of Transportation is resurfacing State Road 37 between Virginia Street on the north and Schoolhouse Road on the south. The work is a pavement-only resurfacing project contracted to C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. for approximately $5.77 million.

What happens next

The project is scheduled for completion by July 7, 2026, according to FDOT records.
