SR 555 intersection improved south of Spirit Lake

The Florida Department of Transportation finished an intersection improvement on SR 555, also known as US 17, in the area south and north of Spirit Lake. The work was contracted to Prince Contracting, LLC and budgeted at approximately $89,506.

The project was part of FDOT's five-year work program for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. Construction began in May 2022 with an estimated completion date of February 2024, and records indicate the work is now complete.
