Statewide Electrical Contractors plans headquarters relocation to Highway 33 in Polk City
Electrical contractor George Fernandez is evaluating moving his company's Polk County headquarters from Lakeland to a 12-acre property on Highway 33.
Statewide Electrical Contractors, Inc., an established Florida electrical contractor operating since 1996, is exploring relocating its Polk County headquarters from 4025 Pipkin Road in Lakeland to approximately 3 acres of a 12-acre parcel at 9730 Highway 33 North in Polk City. The proposed development would include an owner-occupied office, warehouse, equipment storage, and related business operations, with the remaining acreage continuing in agricultural or rural use.
Founder and President George Fernandez, a long-time Polk County property owner, is currently in pre-application discussions with the county to evaluate feasibility, including land use compatibility, zoning requirements, environmental considerations related to the Green Swamp Area of Critical State Concern, infrastructure and utility availability, and the appropriate entitlement process.
