A Tractor Supply is moving into the Palm Center on South Florida Avenue

Where it is. On South Florida Avenue in south Lakeland, about 150 feet from Wingstop and about 200 feet from Winners Circle Sportsbar and Grill. Distance measured from map data, October 2026.

Two of the places within a quarter mile, nearest first; the nearest large store is kept when there is one. Straight-line distance between the mapped points. Restaurant locations geocoded from the Florida DBPR active food-service licence file, read Oct 15, 2026.

An existing storefront in the Palm Center shopping plaza is being built out into a Tractor Supply farm-and-ranch store.

Records from Lakeland show an existing space at 4233 Florida Ave S being converted into a Tractor Supply store. The main build-out permit — described as "Alteration of an existing space into a TSC" — was filed in June 2025, issued in October 2025, and finaled in February 2026, with a construction value of $600,000. Two fire-system permits tied to the project name the tenant directly as "Tractor Supply 3187" and "Tractor Supply," confirming who is moving in.

The work is part of a larger wave of permits across the same parcel, which appears to be the Palm Center shopping plaza (addresses 4233, 4241, 4269, 4287 and 4303 Florida Ave S all sit on one parcel owned by Palm Center Associates LLC). Those included rooftop HVAC units, interior electrical, wall and wayfinding signs, and fire sprinkler work.

The illuminated wall sign and both fire-protection permits for the Tractor Supply were finaled by February 2026, so the build-out is essentially complete. The records do not give an opening date.

What happens next

With the build-out permit and sign and fire-system permits finaled, the store appears ready to open. The records themselves give no opening date.
