The US 27 and SR 60 interchange got new lanes
State crews added lanes at the US 27 (SR 25) interchange with SR 60 in Polk County, a roughly $45 million job that records show is now complete.
This was a Florida Department of Transportation project to add lanes at the interchange where US 27 (also called SR 25) meets SR 60. The work is listed under FDOT's Five-Year Work Program as item 419243, with a known contract value of about $45.3 million.
The contractor, Prince Contracting, LLC, began work in September 2020 under a contract let in June 2020, with an estimated completion date of November 27, 2024. FDOT's records now show the construction status as complete.
