Avenue Q Autobody rezoned for mixed business park use

A one-acre business park property is being rezoned to allow different uses

Jonathan Morales Diaz applied to rezone approximately one acre near Avenue Q from Business Park Center-1 to Business Park Center-2. The Planning Commission approved the map change on May 6, 2026, and the Board of County Commissioners adopted the rezoning on June 2, 2026.

The rezone allows the property to be used under the less restrictive Business Park Center-2 district standards. County staff and the Planning Commission both recommended approval.

What happens next

The rezoning is now adopted. The property owner may proceed with development under Business Park Center-2 zoning rules.
