A used-car lot was floated for 2520 Lake Alfred Road, but the plan was withdrawn

A commercial property at 2520 Lake Alfred Road, north of Winter Haven, drew a cluster of county filings in 2025. The one tied to the name on the records, Best Price Auto Sale Repair, asked to change the property's use to vehicle sales. That request was withdrawn.

Two other filings at the same address went nowhere either. A commercial renovation permit for stucco, roof and window repairs and gutters was denied, and a separate inquiry about opening an ice cream shop called Tropical Flavors was closed out as complete. The property is zoned commercial, but records note it had not been converted for commercial operation.

For now, none of the filings show an approved path forward. What eventually opens here, if anything, is not yet public.
