A mixed-use commercial development is planned for the southwest corner of Kathleen Road and Prine Road.
A 2.27-acre site at the signalized intersection of Kathleen Road and Prine Road is under review for three commercial tenants: a 4,050 square-foot dental office, a 1,761 square-foot coffee shop, and a 2,300 square-foot quick-service restaurant. The project will include 63 parking spaces and on-site drive-through circulation.
Access is planned via a full driveway onto Prine Road and a right-in/right-out access onto Kathleen Road. The site straddles the Lakeland city line—the easternmost parcel lies within the city limits under commercial zoning, while the remaining parcels are in unincorporated Polk County.
