Lakeland is constructing Fire Station 8 at 3890 Mall Hill Drive. An easement vacation was approved in March 2026. Since June, the city has issued permits for foundation work, a retaining wall, and electrical systems, with Rodda Construction handling site work and K-Tech Solutions managing electrical installation.
