Lakeland Regional's Hollis Cancer Center gets a new radiation machine and fresh signs
Lakeland Regional Health replaced a linear accelerator and reworked the pylon and cabinet signs at its Hollis Cancer Center on Lakeland Hills Boulevard.
At 3525 Lakeland Hills Boulevard, Lakeland Regional Medical Center pulled a series of permits to replace a linear accelerator β the radiation-therapy machine used to treat cancer β inside its Hollis Cancer Center. The building work was valued at about $932,000 and included modifications to the existing fire sprinkler system to fit the new equipment.
Alongside the equipment swap, the hospital refaced and replaced signs at the center, including two pylon signs and cabinet signs branded for the Hollis Cancer Center, handled by Creative Sign Designs.
All of these permits have been finaled, meaning the recorded work is complete. The linear accelerator permit was finaled in February 2026, and the sign permits were finaled in spring 2026.
