Publix Super Markets is moving forward with plans to tear down and rebuild its supermarket location at 1090 Spirit Lake Road in Winter Haven. The rebuild will include the Publix store and its attached liquor store, along with new parking infrastructure and stormwater management.
The project is currently under county review as a site-plan application. An environmental permit modification was also filed with the Southwest Florida Water Management District in May 2026 and remains incomplete as of early October.
