At 202 Massachusetts Avenue N in downtown Lakeland, the property owned by Baron Management LLC has gone through a round of interior and exterior work. An interior demolition and build-out permit was issued in December 2025 and finaled in June 2026, and a permit for an exterior CMU block wall was also issued in December 2025. Applicant Jason Ellis was awarded a Community Redevelopment Agency grant for the site.
A site plan described as "Rec Room Patio" was filed but later withdrawn, so any outdoor patio plans for the property are not currently moving forward. A special event tied to the same parcel — listed as a "Borges Cigar Event" at 310 Cedar Street — was completed in April 2026.
