Southeastern University Inc. is the owner behind a new early childhood center at 2128 Crystal Lake Drive South. The main commercial building permit, valued at about $3.9 million, was issued in December 2025, with GARD Construction Group listed as the building contractor.
A steady run of follow-on permits through 2026 shows the project moving along: an underground fire line (finaled in May 2026), a wet-pipe sprinkler system, a fire alarm system, low-voltage data and access control wiring, and classroom AV systems. A playground-related accessory structure permit was also issued in July 2026.
