State Road 17 getting new pavement between Waverly and Lake Trask
FDOT is resurfacing a 3.6-mile stretch of SR 17 from north of Waverly Road to south of Lake Trask Road.
The Florida Department of Transportation is resurfacing State Road 17 over a 3.6-mile stretch running from north of Waverly Road (CR 540) to south of Lake Trask Road. The work is pavement-only resurfacing and is currently under construction.
AJAX Paving Industries of Florida is the contractor on the $1.29 million project. Work began in January 2026 with an estimated completion date in mid-April 2026.
