SR 471 resurfacing from SR 35 to Sumter County Line is complete
A 6.8-mile stretch of SR 471 between SR 35 and the Sumter County line has been resurfaced.
The Florida Department of Transportation completed resurfacing work on SR 471 from SR 35 northward to the Sumter County line. The project, worth approximately $5.1 million, was carried out by C.W. Roberts Contracting and finished in 2024.
The work covered about 6.8 miles of roadway as part of FDOT's Five-Year Work Program.
