Milestone Towers is constructing a new 150-foot monopole communications tower on Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven. Verizon Wireless has received a permit to install co-location equipment on the tower and in ground space at the site.

The site plan was approved and both permits have been issued as of spring 2025.
