Victory Assembly of God has been building out its Griffin Road campus with a dozen new classrooms, athletic fields and a fresh roof.
At 1401 Griffin Road in South Lakeland, Victory Assembly of God of Lakeland has pulled a steady run of commercial permits to expand its campus. Through 2025 the church built twelve new classrooms (labeled P-34 through P-45, each valued at $112,000) plus a deck connecting them, and installed a new fire-alarm system. All of that work has been finaled.
More recently the campus added athletic fields with a dugout, a scoreboard and electrical for it, a black chain-link fence for the baseball field, and scoreboard footers — permits that closed out through spring and summer 2026. Two newer jobs are still open: a $378,400 reroof issued in May 2026 and a window replacement issued in June 2026.
The property owner on every permit is Victory Assembly of God of Lakeland. A separate fireworks (cold sparks) permit, listing Southeastern University as the contractor, was withdrawn.
