Two of the places within a quarter mile, nearest first; the nearest large store is kept when there is one. Straight-line distance between the mapped points. Restaurant locations geocoded from the Florida DBPR active food-service licence file, read Oct 7, 2026.
Wingstop is planned at 1322 State Rd 60 in Lake Wales: a new food-service business with seating, according to a kitchen plan-review application filed with the State of Florida.
Kitchen plans approved. The state received a kitchen plan-review application on 28 August 2026. The state approved the kitchen plans on 18 September 2026; its file lists the status as "Approved with Provisos". That is an application to build out a kitchen. It is not an opening date.
What we do not know: an opening date. The state file does not give one, and it says nothing about the building beyond a food-service kitchen with seating. The business name is the state file's spelling.
