SR 600 (US 92) resurfacing project between Schalamar Creek Drive and SR 570 is complete
A state road resurfacing project on US 92 has finished.
The Florida Department of Transportation completed resurfacing work on a 3.1-mile stretch of SR 600 (US 92) between Schalamar Creek Drive and west of SR 570 in Polk County. Hubbard Construction Company carried out the pavement resurface work under contract E1W75, with a contract value of approximately $2.56 million.
The project was scheduled to begin January 6, 2025, with an estimated completion date of June 4, 2025. According to FDOT records, the work is now marked as construction complete.
